The fire of natural opal. The resilience of a lab. Galaxy Opal® is chemically identical to natural precious opal — composed of silica and water — delivering translucent Blue with green play-of-fire, with the extraordinary added benefit of heat resistance up to 900°C. Fireable in metal clay, kiln, torch, and compatible with borosilicate glass. Real opal. Unmined. Uncompromising.
